AT A GLANCE: The Lower Apartment has been rented for January 1, 2010. Our great thanks to all who applied or expressed interest in the place.

Located in a vibrant neighborhood on west Queen Anne Hill, this is a BIG 1BR apartment in an old Craftsman-style house built in 1915. The house, while old, is very stout and the apartment is fully modern, despite its antique look. It has a framed view of Magnolia and the Olympics.

Situated at about a half-hour walk from Seattle Center, this apartment covers one and one-quarter floors of a Queen Anne Craftsman-style house, most on the main floor, but a section of finished basement below for a laundry area and office/storeroom. That's about 1200 square feet, combined. It features one bedroom with 2 closets, a bathroom with tub/shower, a very large livingroom, and a ktchen/dining area that gives to a new stone clad deck over the view. Appliances in the unit include an electric front-load washer & dryer (recent purchase); new refrigerator/freezer; gas stove/oven and a dishwasher. It is heated by a dedicated, forced-air natural gas furnace. The apartment has a non-shared outdoor Area, including the 126 sq ft, slate-surfaced deck.

Lower Apartment Rented!
It takes a lot of adventurousness and creativity to rent an apartment with no covering on the kitchen floor. Most folks wouldn't do it. But B. and S. did. Welcome to the neighborhood! Er … welcome to another part of the neighborhood.
